Why Choose Polarized Lenses?

Polarised lens makes them different from standard sunglass lenses. A special film sandwiched between two of the layers of the lens, which only allows vertical light to pass through them. This film eliminates the glare caused by horizontal light that has reflected off surfaces like roads, water and snow.

TAC lenses are made from Triacetate Cellulose which is a multi-layered lens technology that is formulated to provide complete and thorough elimination of glare, polarised light and harmful UV rays. They provide 100% protection against UVA, UVB & UVC rays up to 400 nanometres.

TAC lenses are made up of 7 layers. First is the polarising film, the second and third layers provide bonding and prevent the polarising film from being damaged. The forth and fifth layers absorb ultraviolet rays and the sixth and seventh layers are shockproofing layers that help prevent lens scratches and increase impact resistance.
